I will take to you a place
reserved for the human race
more glorious than eyes have seen
way beyond wildest dreams
Your invitation comes by grace
consume me with belief and faith
your sins be gone and erased
you are my child I’ve saved your place
Golder than gold
and more sparkling
than diamonds
Lord you are the
treasure I shall mine
all of my days
We are sons of our Father
a body of one
Departing the womb
alive we become
United are we by
living breath
Inheritance comes
when flesh meets death
Our spirits shall rise
meet our God
The one who made us
the Father of all
New bodies surround us
a perfect one
Alive in our Father
his body of sons
Inspired by 1 Corinthians 12:20 "But now are they many members, yet but one body."
Centuries count for nothing
time evaporates with truth
The Bible sank deep into me
I was transformed and renewed
Infused with gracious love
guided by wisdom beyond
Faith secures its place in me
a soul lost now found
The Lord
came before me
at the foot
of my bed
Pure
white
fire
in the shape
of a man
is giving
all the time
that is his nature
What we do
with what he gives
is how he
takes his measure
